CREATIVE CARTOONING INTENSIVES
Draw til you DROP! Are you a hardcore drawer? Were you born with a pencil in your fist? Do you have to be surgically removed from your sketchbook just to have breakfast? (Note: may be a slight exaggeration.)
These extended workshops are for drawers with Intermediate skills, who enjoy staying drawing-focused for long bursts, and who are open to trying ways of drawing that might be different to their usual style.
Each session begins with Bradfield demonstrating a range of simple but effective cartooning techniques that can be applied to any drawing style. These techniques are designed to be messed with! After a short lunch break, the rest of the session is free-draw time for participants to experiment with the techniques. Bradfield will also include ‘random idea generator’ drawing games to get the group drawing into new territory.
IMPORTANT: BYO lunch – participants will need to stay onsite and cannot leave to buy lunch.
